Dave Fre e and  Punch  are both presidents of the TDE. There are currently eight artists signed to the label:  Isaiah Rashad ,  SZA ,  Lance Skiiiwalker , and  SiR , as well as the flagship artists,  Black Hippy  members  Jay Rock ,  Kendrick Lamar ,  Ab-Soul  and  Schoolboy Q  . The label also houses a production division that includes  Digi+Phonics , THC, King Blue and Derek " MixedByAli " Ali.

MUSIC MAGAZINE ANALYSIS

Big, bold and black masthead 'Billboard' at the top to stand out to customers.  Articles on the cover include famous music artists to draw interests from the reader. the readers will see their names on the cover and be intrigued to buy the magazine. Katy Perry's name is in bold next to the main image of so it informs the readers that she will the main story of this magazine. The colour scheme consists of black, pink, yellow and white, these colours mirror what Katy is wearing. this could attract the stereotypical feminine audience. They have stuck with the signature blue and yellow in the 'a' and 'd', connoting they are an established brand as it doesn't really match the pink background.  Main image of Katy Perry to attract both a male and female audience, fans of Katy will see her as the main imagine and want to buy the magazine. 'Billboard' has stuck to the classic 'billboard' lay out.
